Twin Cities natives Michael and Joannie Anderson started
Anderson's Designer Portraits in 1986. Michael, a former grocery
store department manager, and Joannie, a licensed cosmetologist,
took Michael's hobby and turned it into a profession.
Today Anderson's Designer Portraits create some of the finest
wedding stories and portraits available anywhere. They specialize in
weddings, children's and family portraits as well as high school
seniors. Joannie and Michael are active members of Wedding and
Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and Professional
Photographers of America (PPA). Michael is working towards
his Master of Photography degree from PPA. Together they have
studied under many of photography's finest teachers.
Their portrait and wedding assignments have taken them to
locations such as Chicago, New York City, Myrtle Beach and
Charleston, South Carolina; Daytona Beach, Florida; San Antonio,
Texas; as well as towns in Iowa and Wisconsin and all throughout
Minnesota.
Michael is an active member of the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce. Their home studio is in the northern Twin Cities suburb of Mounds View. It is their desire to design a portrait that says something special about you. They offer design assistance on all aspects of your portrait. From where to create the portrait, proper clothing, selecting the proper size for the location you've chosen to display in your home, and custom framing to bring it all together!
